About Roborovskis
When I was younger, I was a huge animal lover (I still am)
Growing up, I had fancy rats, then fancy mice, now Roborovskis.
Roborovskis behavior is very similar to fancy mice, although, much more skittish (and FAST).
They are not great climbers however, unlike mice, and any fall will hurt them. So they are not so easy to handle. That isn't to say that they will not try to climb, they will, especially when panicking.
Although they are more hands off, they are definitely cuter than mice and rats, have virtually no odor compared to them, and are as equally entertaining to watch as both mice and rats..
My goal is to produce lines that you can actually handle and grab with no issues. I found out recently that there is a similar breeding project in Georgia, from a hamstery that wants the same end goal, tame robos. I love that, I'd love to see tame robos, hopefully one day they will be like their much larger cousins in terms of tameness, since they are so adorable.
